No data collection on the web
This website and the installable web app do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information or device data. They contain no accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, purchases, third-party login, or social features. Nothing leaves your browser.
Purchases in the iPhone and Android apps
The native apps offer optional one-time purchases: a second Adinkra symbol set, an endless mode, and a one-time unlock of everything in the game. To grant and restore those purchases, the apps use RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA), which processes the store purchase receipt and a random anonymous app-user identifier. This identifier is not linked to your identity — there is no account, no email, no name — and it is not used for tracking or advertising. Nothing else is collected: no analytics events, no device fingerprinting, no ads. Everything in the free game works without buying anything and without a network connection. The web version sends nothing at all.
Local gameplay only
Your best scores and settings are stored on this device only. They are never sent to Sankofa Digital or any server and can be removed by clearing the app or website data. Haptic feedback is generated locally by the device and carries no data.
Optional new-content alerts in the iPhone and Android apps
The native apps can, only if you say yes to one in-app question, send exactly one kind of notification: a heads-up that a new symbol set or mode exists. Nothing is ever gated on saying yes, and nothing else is ever sent — no streaks, no reminders to come back, no offers. Saying yes shares a push delivery token with the platform's notification service (Apple/Google); no other identifier accompanies it. A toggle inside the app turns it off at any time, which also discards the token. The web version has no notifications at all.
Permissions
The app does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or advertising permissions. The native apps may ask for notification permission — once, in context, only after you have chosen to be told about new content — and remain fully functional if you decline.
